This iaido sword is fitted with a sea cucumber tsuba, favored by Miyamoto Musashi.
Unlike inexpensive replica swords, it is made of a hard alloy for iaido, which is realistic and durable. The mounting also has the elegance of a genuine article.

Habaki, seppa, and blade are all firm with no play. The koiguchi (mouth of the scabbard) is not loose. There is slight horizontal play in the tsuba, but it does not interfere with drawing or unsheathing the sword. There are scuff marks on the blade from use.
