Vintage Wedgwood Whitehall Powder Ruby 6" Bread Cake Plates Bone China Set of 10

Vintage Wedgwood Whitehall Powder Ruby Band 6 Bread and Butter, Appetizer, Canape, Dessert Plates Bone China Set of 10 Discontinued. Actual: 1944 - 1987 From a discontinued bone china line produced in England between 1944 and 1987. It is highly regarded for its intricate design, which features a hand-applied powdered ruby red band topped with a gilded grape vine border. Because the pattern was labor-intensive—requiring decorators to apply individual dots by hand—it was one of Wedgwood's more expensive lines to produce. The 6 size is great for bread and butter but also a useful size for appetizers and small desserts.
