Authentic vintage Resistol Qualifier 4X Beaver black felt cowboy hat in exceptional, collector-worthy condition.  Purchased new in Wyoming in 2000 and worn only briefly before being carefully stored for over two decades. This is a genuine Resistol 4X Beaver fur felt hat—not a modern wool or costume hat. The felt remains remarkably stiff and structurally sound, with an immaculate satin liner and a soft, supple leather sweatband. The felt is crisp and retains its original shape beautifully. The liner is exceptionally clean, and the original protective plastic remains on the interior crown label. Leather sweatband is clean and supple. No moth damage, odors, tears, or structural issues. There is only the faintest trace of makeup on the inside forehead portion of the sweatband from the single time it was worn.  This is a beautiful example of a vintage Resistol that would make an excellent addition to a western wardrobe or a serious hat collection.
